Baltic States Excluded from Key Ukraine Defense Summit in London

In a surprising diplomatic move, representatives from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia have not been invited to the high-stakes Ukraine defense summit set to take place in London on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

The exclusion of these Baltic nations—staunch supporters of Ukraine and key NATO allies—has sparked dissatisfaction in the region. Despite this, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is expected to hold a phone call with their leaders on the morning of the summit to address concerns.

The summit will bring together over a dozen European nations, including France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Turkey, and Ukraine, along with top NATO and EU representatives, to discuss strengthening Ukraine’s defense and ramping up economic pressure on Russia.
