Israel launches new wave of air strikes targeting southern Beirut

Lebanon’s state media reported an Israeli air raid on Beirut’s southern suburbs after the Israeli military warned it would attack an association accused of financing Hezbollah in Lebanon.
More than 87 Palestinians were killed or are missing after Israeli air strikes on northern Gaza’s Beit Lahiya, as rescuers pull bodies and survivors from the concrete debris of destroyed homes.
The 16-day Israeli military siege of northern Gaza continues with access to food, water, medicine and vital services cut off for an estimated 400,000 trapped residents.
An Israeli army bulldozer deliberately demolished an observation tower and perimeter fence of a UN position in southern Lebanon, UN peacekeeping mission UNIFIL said.
In Gaza, at least 42,603 people have been killed and 99,795 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Hamas’s assault on southern Israel and more than 200 taken captive.
